Robinhood Markets, Inc. is making a strategic push into Canada’s cryptocurrency market with its acquisition of WonderFi Technologies Inc. The all-cash deal, valued at approximately C$250 million, grants Robinhood access to WonderFi’s established platforms, including Bitbuy and Coinsquare.

The acquisition positions Robinhood to leverage WonderFi’s regulatory compliance and infrastructure, which currently oversees C$2.1 billion in assets under custody. This move signals Robinhood’s commitment to expanding its global crypto footprint through regulated, institutional-grade channels.
